Have you guys ever been on Heels.com? Sometimes their selection is a little iffy, but I love that they have videos – and they are better than the ones on Zappos because you can actually see the shoe from the side so you can get a better idea of just how high they are. Where would you live? If you could just put aside all the logistics of actually moving, where would you just pick up and go to? I’ve been thinking about that a lot lately…part of me says I’d go somewhere cooler, that actually has seasons, but then I remember how miserable winters are.

Yeah, yeah, yeah I don’t eat breakfast every day. I know that’s bad. I’d lie & say I whip up a healthy yogurt parfait and skip the coffee in the morning, but who are we kidding? It’s usually a cup of coffee when I get to work & then I stare at the clock till it’s my old lady lunchtime of 11am. Today my coworker, Melissa, left this little pack of Justin’s Chocolate Hazelnut Butter on my desk and it was so good I have to spread the word!

Now when you think “chocolate hazelnut butter” you might think Nutella – I know I did, but this doesn’t taste like Nutella at all. It’s much more earthy/natural tasting and not overly sweet, which makes it a perfect topping for a morning snack. Make sure to check their website to see what stores in your area carry it, because it’s not everywhere!

Well if you don’t live in Phoenix, you’re probably sad to say goodbye to summer. Hang onto every last second of this long weekend by stirring up this sangria made with crisp white wine & summer fruits.

6 cups assorted fruits (such as mango, pineapple, cantaloupe, and apricot), sliced or cut into chunks
1/4 cup thinly sliced peeled fresh ginger
1 to 1 1/2 cups fresh basil or mint leaves
1/2 cup orange liqueur, such as Cointreau
1 bottle crisp white wine, such as Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio
3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice (from 1 lemon)
Ice

In a large bowl or pitcher, combine fruit, ginger, basil or mint, and orange liqueur. Mash gently with the back of a wooden spoon until basil is bruised and fruit releases juices. Add wine and lemon juice and stir to combine. Refrigerate 1 hour (or up to 1 day). To serve, fill eight glasses with ice and top with sangria.

Uggggggh – I’m moving. I hate packing so much. The worst part is I feel like I have acquired a ton of stuff since the last time I moved, two years ago. I ran my business out of this apartment so now I have 8,000 ribbon spools, scrap paper, samples, etc that of course I can’t bring myself to throw away because “WHAT IF I NEED IT?” I have too much stuff. Too much of everything! I’m moving into my sister’s house until I decide what I want to do long-term so I am going to be limited to one room & all my furniture is going into storage. I really do wish I had less, but I get way too attached to things. Like all those clothes on the floor in my closet I never wear? I just don’t have enough space for them! Wouldn’t it be nice to have a closet like this??

Why does the dentist have to be so scary?? This picture gives me the heebie jeebies! What are all those little things!? GEEZUS LOOK AT THAT SHARP ONE!! What’s in that syringe!!

Well the obvious thing I should post about today is the VMA’s. Maybe it’ll be on again during the day so I can be awake to watch the whole thing, because I am entirely too old to stay up that late on a school night. What time did it even end?? I saw the first hour or so. Of course the internet is foaming at the mouth over the news that Beyonce is pregnant. I’m excited too! No more leotards & pantyhose! And Lady Gaga didn’t wear a leotard either for that matter. Do you think they talked? They both were wearing suits…although one was a little more convincing as a man.

Justin Bieber was carrying a snake. Why? And Demi Lovato looked skanky. Also, why? I think she is really pretty and I don’t like this sex oozing off her. I’m going to call her mom!

And these characters? Oh what’s the point of discussing…

It wasn’t all bad though. Adele performed and it was amazing! I felt kind of awkward for everyone in the crowd. They must’ve been a little embarrassed by her raw talent and how freakin’ good she is. Kinda makes you reflect on yourself doesn’t it, guys? The black carpet fashion wasn’t all bad either, here are some winners:
